What's new

Recent improvements to AI search accuracy, the creator index, the API, security posture, and the interface. Dates in EST.

  1. Pricing

New pricing: Starter $99, Pro $349, Agency $899

    • Three paid tiers replacing the old Free/Pro/Scale structure. Every plan includes AI search, brand-fit scoring, and outreach drafts.
    • Card required for 14-day trial on all plans. Cancel anytime from your dashboard.
    • Extra reveal packs available as one-time purchases when you need more contacts beyond your monthly quota.
    • 'Not ready to start?' feedback form on the pricing page so we know what would help.
  2. Outreach

Send outreach emails directly from Cloutfind

    • New /outreach panel: draft, send, and track outreach emails to creators. AI writes personalized emails referencing their actual recent videos.
    • Custom tone input: tell the AI the feel you want ('casual', 'professional', 'mention their sourdough videos') and it adapts.
    • Full outreach tracking: drafted, sent, opened, replied status per message.
    • Outreach sends are quota-gated per tier: Starter 30/mo, Pro 200/mo, Agency 750/mo.
  3. Search

Better search quality and estimated sponsor costs

    • Inactive creators (no uploads in 12+ months) are now filtered from search results by default. Toggle 'Include inactive' to see them.
    • Emails in creator profiles (About section) are redacted until you reveal the contact. No more free-riding on visible business emails.
    • Every creator card now shows an estimated sponsor cost range based on their average views ($15-$40 CPM).
    • Competitive intel now accepts brand names directly, not just URLs. Type 'Squarespace' to see every creator who mentioned them.
  4. Index

Index grows to 4,500+ creators across 300+ verticals

    • Targeted ingest runs across VR, skincare, beauty, fashion, tech, coding, fitness, travel, pets, cooking, and 30+ additional verticals.
    • Brand mention false positives cleaned up (generic words like 'current' no longer flagged as brand names).
    • Search is faster: AI ranking now uses 18 candidates instead of 30, cutting response time from 60+ seconds to under 30.
  5. Reliability

Fixed two redirect bugs that affected guest visitors

    • Unauthenticated visitors hitting protected pages were being redirected to an internal upstream URL instead of cloutfind.com. Now correctly redirect to the public sign-in page.
    • The /search page was forcing guests to sign in instead of showing the marketing hero with index stats. Now /search works for everyone.
    • Search engine crawlers will index the /search hero properly for the first time as a result.
  6. Ranking

Smarter ranking when your brand and your query are in different verticals

    • AI ranker now treats your saved brand profile as a tiebreaker, not a primary ranker. If you search 'Gaming creators 10K-50K subs with sponsor history' while your brand profile is in a different vertical, you get gaming creators ranked by gaming fit, not by how close they are to your brand's vertical.
    • Brand context still differentiates between two equally on-niche candidates, or when a query is genuinely vague.
    • Search-result cards now show every contact channel we have on file for the creator (Email + Instagram + TikTok + Discord chips with an overflow indicator), not just an email badge.
    • The free-tier creator profile shows which contacts we have for that specific creator instead of six generic blurs, so you know what you would unlock on Pro before committing.
  7. Index

Gaming + mid-size indie verticals got a fresh ingest pass

    • Added 300+ mid-size gaming creators in the 10K-50K subscriber band: Minecraft, Valorant, Roblox, Terraria, Hollow Knight, indie game showcases, FPS streamers.
    • The 'Gaming creators 10K-50K subs with sponsor history' query now returns 22+ on-niche creators where it returned 13 yesterday.
    • Sub-vertical depth is growing every day via automated overnight ingest.
  8. Contacts

Way more emails, Instagrams, Discords, TikToks on every creator

    • Contact extraction now scans the channel description AND every recent video description, not just the channel description.
    • When the regex pass comes up empty, an AI extractor reads the creator's full text and pulls any business email, Instagram handle, TikTok handle, Discord invite, or website they have surfaced publicly, including non-standard formats like 'catch me on insta @x' that regex misses.
    • After the backfill across the live index: email coverage jumped 70%, Instagram coverage is now on 38% of creators, TikTok 15%.
    • When we genuinely cannot find contact info, the creator profile now explains why and links to the YouTube About tab for the manual fallback (their business email is hidden behind a captcha that we cannot solve automatically).
  9. Sponsors

AI-graded sponsor history with confidence and placement

    • The sponsor scanner picked up 13 new phrases this week (#paid, #gifted, 'today's sponsor', 'brand deal', 'PR sample', 'gifted by', coupon code variants, and more). The full index was rescanned, so creator sponsor history is now substantially more accurate.
    • For every flagged sponsored video, AI now identifies the specific brand named in the integration, scores how confident it is (0 to 100%), and tags where in the video the integration likely lives (pre-roll, mid-roll, end screen, description only).
    • Confidence and placement chips render on every brand mention on the creator profile so you can prioritize the strongest signals before reaching out.
    • The traditional search filter gained an 'Active sponsor history (3+ recent)' preset that pairs with the existing 'has done sponsors' toggle for fast filtering of creators who actually integrate brands recently.
  10. Index

Live index doubles in a day, with daily background growth

    • We added more than 1,000 new creators to the index in one afternoon across food, beauty, fashion, fitness, gaming, business, healthcare, parenting, pets, gardening, travel, lifestyle, and 60+ other verticals.
    • Every day at 03:00 UTC, a background job ingests another 40 niches we haven't covered recently, so the index keeps growing on its own.
    • The dashboard now shows 'Your recent niche expansions' for every paying customer, and the landing page surfaces 'N new niches expanded this week' as a live trust signal.
  11. Search

Search accuracy: off-niche matches no longer surface

    • The AI search now enforces strict niche matching. Queries like 'anti-aging skincare reviewers' will not return kitchen gadget channels just because one of the user's words happens to appear in a creator's description.
    • Eligibility requires either a strong niche-density signal (recent video titles actually living in the niche) or multiple of your specific niche terms appearing in the creator's profile. Single weak keyword matches no longer qualify.
    • Low-fit matches (AI score under 30) are hidden by default. A 'Show low-fit' toggle is available if you want to see them anyway.
    • Every result card now shows 'X / N terms' and 'Y% niche density' chips so you can see at a glance how well a creator actually matches your query.
  12. Index

Background index expansion when your query is novel

    • When a search lands in a niche we haven't deeply covered, the platform automatically queues a YouTube ingest job in the background. A non-blocking banner shows the expansion in progress with a live creator counter.
    • When the job completes with new creators indexed, the search auto-refreshes so the new matches appear ranked alongside the existing ones. No manual reload.
    • Every paying user gets a 'Your recent niche expansions' panel on the dashboard summarizing what has been indexed for their queries.
    • The live index grew 80% in one afternoon across food, beauty, fashion, fitness, tech, business, healthcare, travel, lifestyle, gardening, parenting, and a long tail of micro-niches.
  13. AI

Brand profile feeds every AI step now

    • Brand profile gained two new fields: competitor brands and reference good-fit creators. Both feed the AI ranker, the brand-fit scorer, and the AI-suggested search prompts.
    • New 'Auto-fill with AI' button in Settings: paste your brand URL and the AI reads your homepage and proposes pitch + audience + product links + competitor list in one shot.
    • AI search results now show a 'Personalized: pitch + audience + competitors' chip whenever your brand profile shaped the ranking, with a one-click link back to Settings.
    • Dashboard nudge surfaces brand-profile completeness as a percentage with a per-field checklist so it's obvious what's left to fill in.
  14. Search

    More filters and one-click refinement

    • Filter UI on AI search now exposes minimum engagement %, sponsor recency window in days, and language alongside the existing platform / subscriber / country options.
    • After every search, a 'Refine these results' strip suggests follow-up filters tailored to the result distribution (narrow to under 100K, only with sponsor history, US-only, and similar). One click applies the filter and re-runs the search.
    • Competitive-intel default window extended from 90 to 180 days for richer sponsor signal across landing copy, dashboard, and API.
  15. Landing

    Hero rebuild focused on outcomes

    • Headline tightened to 'Find the right creator in 60 seconds' with the ROI hook 'One good match pays for a year.'
    • Animated product demo on the hero cycles five real-world queries with ranked results streaming in.
    • Why-this-is-different section added with three concrete claims: plain-English in / 0-100 fit scoring / 180 days of competitor signal.
    • Outcome-first features section, with a comparison table vs anonymous discovery tools.
    • Top nav split: signed-in users see Dashboard, Search, Lists, Settings as first-class links. Marketing-only nav for visitors.
  16. Search

    Wider creator index, sharper ranker

    • 30 new verticals ingested in the latest round: yoga, tarot, watches, mechanical keyboards, esports analysis, mountain biking, 3D printing, birdwatching, BBQ, cosplay, home automation, climbing, photography, astronomy, productivity, dropshipping, FBA, real estate, mortgage, tax, med school, nursing, law school, personal finance.
    • AI ranker rewritten with an explicit six-signal priority list (niche density first), eliminating the 'subscriber sort that ignored niche fit' failure mode.
  17. Watchlists

Saved searches with email alerts and webhooks

    • Save any AI search to your watchlist. New 'Save search' button on /search.
    • Agency tier: turn on alerts to get an email when the match count grows. Hourly cron checks every alerts-on watchlist.
    • New 'Run now' button on each saved search for on-demand re-runs.
    • Outbound webhooks: set a webhook_url on any Agency watchlist and Cloutfind POSTs a JSON payload (Zapier catchers, custom queues) the moment new matches appear.
  18. API

    Public API documentation

    • Full /api-docs page covering /search/ai, /creators/{id}/brand-fit, /creators/{id}/outreach-draft, GET /creators/{id}, and GET /stats/public.
    • Auth via X-API-Key or Authorization Bearer header.
    • Rate limits documented per endpoint (20/min + 500/day on AI search, 10/min + 200/day on AI scoring + outreach).
  19. Security

    Security and reliability improvements

    • Security hardening across response headers and request validation.
    • Abuse-resistance updates to the free-tier preview and trial flow.
    • Brief deploy gaps now show a branded maintenance page instead of a generic upstream error.
  20. Interface

    Visual upgrade across signed-in surfaces

    • /search, /dashboard, /lists, /settings, /admin headers all redesigned with gradient hero cards, glass-effect status pills, and consistent visual language.
    • Comparison table on the landing now shows side-by-side feature deltas vs anonymous discovery tools.
    • Trust strip on the landing pulls live counts from /stats/public so the numbers never go stale.
