Cloutfind ("we", "us") is the service this policy applies to. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have. We do not sell user data to third parties.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: email address (required for magic-link authentication), display name if provided, the organization you belong to.
- Brand profile: any pitch, target audience, product link, or outreach goal you save in /settings. Used only to auto-contextualize AI searches and outreach drafts inside your own org.
- Usage events: searches you run, creators you reveal, exports you take, AI prompts you submit. Used for billing-quota enforcement and abuse detection.
- Billing data: a Stripe customer ID and the last four digits of your payment method. Full card data lives only at Stripe; we never see or store it.
- Server logs: request timestamps, IP addresses, user agents. Retained 30 days for security investigation.
2. How we use it
- Authenticate sign-ins and protect your account.
- Run the discovery and analytical features you ask for.
- Enforce plan limits and bill correctly.
- Detect and respond to abuse (rate-limit violations, fraud).
- Improve the product. Aggregated usage data only; no per-user content is mined.
3. Creator data
Cloutfind indexes publicly available creator information (YouTube channel metadata, About-page contact info, public video descriptions). We do not bypass authentication on any platform, do not scrape data behind logins, and respect any opt-out request from a creator. To request removal, email support@cloutfind.com.
4. AI processing
Some features call third-party AI providers (e.g. to rank creators or draft outreach copy). The data sent to those providers includes the user-supplied query plus the creator-profile fields shown to you. We do not send authentication secrets, billing data, or unrelated user data. Providers are bound by their own no-training commitments on enterprise API calls.
5. Cookies
We set one essential cookie (your session token, HttpOnly). We do not run third-party trackers, advertising pixels, or fingerprinting scripts.
6. Data retention and deletion
You can delete your account from /settings at any time. On deletion we remove your account data, brand profile, lists, and usage history within 30 days. Server logs are removed at the 30-day mark on rolling basis.
