We want Cloutfind to work for everyone who needs it, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen zoom, or the reduced-motion setting on their device.
What we aim for
Our working target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. That is the goal we build and test toward. It is not a claim that every page meets every point of it today.
What we have done
In October 2026 we reviewed the code behind the home page, pricing, sign-in, search and results, creator profiles, lists, outreach, the dashboard and settings against that target, fixed what the review found, and then went through those paths in a desktop browser using only the keyboard. The changes included:
- Text and placeholder colors with enough contrast to read, and a visible edge on every form field.
- A label on every form field, and a name on every button that only shows an icon.
- A visible focus marker, and focus that goes where you would expect when a window opens or closes or when part of a page is replaced.
- Windows (save to a list, draft outreach, new list, the product tour) that can be used and closed from the keyboard.
- Announcements for screen readers when a search starts, is still running, finishes or fails, and when a form cannot be sent.
- A pause button on every moving demo, and demos that start paused when your device asks for reduced motion.
- A "Skip to main content" link as the first stop on every page, and a menu for the header links on small screens.
- Tables with row and column headers, and page titles that say which page you are on.
What is not done yet
- We have not yet tested with people who use a screen reader every day. Our checks so far are a code review and keyboard testing in one desktop browser.
- Payment and billing pages are run by our payment processor on its own site, and we do not control how they are built.
- Channel pictures and video thumbnails come from YouTube. The channel or video name is written next to each one, but text inside an image is not described.
- Fit reasons, brand reports and drafts are written by AI and can be long. They are plain text that a screen reader can read, but they are not summarized.
Tell us about a problem
If something on Cloutfind does not work for you, write to support@cloutfind.com or use the contact form. Tell us which page you were on and what you were trying to do. We read every message, answer in writing, and either fix the problem or give you another way to get the same thing done.
